After receiving a Sirius for Christmas 2007 and going online to subscribe, I purchased a "LIFE TIME" package for $400.00.
After three years I receive a notice that if I do not call within three days, I would not have service. I called and they do not claim to have had a Life Time package nor would they even try to make some kind of future plan. Simply, pay another 399.00 for the next three years or they will shut off the service. Too bad, I Quit.

I guess you may not have dug into it too deeply, but FB has some rather advanced privacy controls. For instance, I make groups out of my friends... Family, Coworkers, Friendly Coworkers, School, etc. and I limit who can see what based on these groups. I also have a group for those people that I feel bad not friending, but don't want them to see crap about me, and that group has rights to just about nothing. As far as those people know, I rarely, if never, use Facebook.

Go to Settings -> Privacy Settings -> Profile .. then pick a dropdown, choose Custom, and add a group.

I agree completely, Wes. I set up a Facebook page with the intention of using it to keep in contact with my nephew, neices, sisters, and old friends - a decidedly un-music related mix of people. Almost immediately of course, the music industry folks started sending friend requests (I'd normally be thrilled about that!), which I've usually turned down unless I know the person REALLY well. So I created a fan page for PC on Facebook in addition to my personal page, and try to funnel people to that, with mixed results.

Ultimately, I've found that Facebook does not work well as a promotional vehicle for music. Ironically the functionality of MySpace works far better in that regard, but people seem to have burned out on MySpace.

June 17 2009 I have Sirius external tuner in my old car. I just got a new car 2007 model that has XM tuner in it. I want to use the new car's in dash unit. Sirius says I have add XM to use the in dash unit . They say we need to cancel Sirius and get XM to use tuner in the new car. They want to charge me A $75 CANCELLATION FEE TO CANCEL THE SERVICE EVEN THOUGH I MOVING TO THE SAME FREAKING COMPANY!!!!!!!!! They haave merged almost a year are a month away. I bitched and got them to waive the fee. Don't take it lying down.
