- Trance superstars Above & Beyond once again feature their own alter ego, OceanLab, on a track. Lonely Girl is a great new release from the trio.
- Brit pop-rocker Gary Go pulls the classic audience-builder move by releasing dance remixes of his debut single, Open Arms.
- Long-time DJ superstar Bad Boy Bill has a couple of songs out at the moment, including this latest, Do What U Like, pulled from an actual *album* (a rarity in dance it seems) he released recently.

“Take Me and Dance” masters almost ready
As is often the case with music projects, things seem to take a bit longer than planned.
That being said, I’m expecting that Carol Hahn’s new release, Take Me and Dance, for which I provided a remix, will be back from mastering within the next day or two. Once it is, it’ll all be off to CD production and in the pipeline to get posted on iTunes, AmazonMP3, Masterbeat, and other digital download stores. Given how Apple and the others operate, it’ll likely be another 2 to 4 weeks before they’re actually online and available for sale, but I’ll post news here as soon as I have it.
Thanks, everyone, for your interest in the track… Much appreciated, and I’m really pleased that so many people like my remix and are clamoring to be able to snag a copy of it.

Added this week are six hot new tracks:
- Pepper MaShay’s latest, Freeway of Love, has been circulating for a few months now, but it’s official release has arrived. It’s a fantastic cover of the Aretha Franklin hit, with a great set of remixes.
- Bananarama are back with Love Comes. I continue to be amazed that this girl group is still around and sounding (and looking) amazing. Down one of the original members, perhaps, but the two remaining are doing the Bananarama name proud.
- Novaspace’s Dancing Into Danger has been one I’ve played for a few months, but I recently got my hands on more mainstream mixes, and am pleased to be spinning this one more often.
- Nic Chagall feat. Johnathan Mendelsohn, with This Moment. This track is pretty unconventional as dance goes, but it’s a great track with a nice rock vibe and an amazing vocal performance from Mendelsohn.
- Nelly Furtado’s first all-Spanish language album has arrived, and the first single, Manos Al Aire, has been remixed to incredible effect. It’s a beautiful song, whether you understand Spanish or not, but if you do, it’s even more so.
- Naturi Naughton brings us Fame ’09, from the forthcoming remake of the movie Fame. Surprisingly, I like this track.

- The UK’s Carmen Reece is getting a lot of play with the track Right Here, and I’ve really warmed-up to this one. (Thanks, Carson!)
- The voice behind hits from Kaskade, Deadmau5 and others, Haley is added this week with a single credited to her directly, This is How it Goes. I really love this one!
- Hailing from Cambridge, Mass., Passion Pit get an add and a chart spot this week with The Reeling, a great track with a really unique sound and feel. While I’m playing a dance remix, it still has the sound of something different that’s hard to put my finger on.
